It’s getting cold out there and “Old Man Winter” is on his way. The outdoor festival season is winding down and soon the best place to get your “INK” gear will be from our online shop. Therefore, our best advice for the coming winter months is to stay inside, sit by your artificial On-Demand HD fireplace and check out our BLOG. Along with the highly anticipated Fall/Winter 2011 line, we will be adding a ton of new content to keep you busy while you stay nice and toasty in your Snuggies (are they still cool?).
The first new addition to the Blog will be a series of interviews, featuring owners and designers of local clothing lines. These designers and business owners are the freshest and most creative minds in our area right now, so we decided to bring their stories and inspirations into your living room. Many local apparel designers started out just like us, one t-shirt, a concept and a dream; a dream to start their very own clothing or accessory line and bring their brand to the masses. We believe it to be as important to invest in the person behind the brand as it is to invest in the brand itself.
Thing is, we don’t want to post your boring run-of-the-mill interview. We want it to be educational and informative, as well as fun and casual. We want you to learn the designer’s creative inspirations and their most embarrassing moment. We strive to be “Far From Ordinary” and that is what we want our interviews to be.
These designer interviews will start out as monthly posts, presented in question and answer format. We plan to expand these to video and audio interviews. An exciting bonus to all of our readers and fans, is the opportunity to get exclusive cross- promotional codes and special deals. These undeniably awesome promotions will only be available through reading our exclusive interviews and visiting our website and those of our fellow designers.
So keep your eyes peeled for our first interview running in October, featuring local clothing designer and owner, Christian Cantiello of Broad Street Bootlegs. BSB has created some of your favorite uniquely inspired sports tees. We look forward to our fall/winter line, as well as bringing you closer than you have ever been to Philly’s hottest up and coming creative talent.
